Swimming Lessons

This is our 2nd year of swimming lessons during the summer.  Last summer, Hope did 10 weeks, every single day!  (Not on Saturday or Sunday, of course.)  This year we took a 2 week break in the middle of the summer to go to Grandma and Grandpas in Missouri.  Hope loves to swim.  I can't believe how well she is doing!  She loves it, and I think she has a little crush on her favorite teacher Mr. Jake (whom also happens to be in our ward.)

Off to preschool!

I can't believe that my sweet Hope is growing up!  She is such a great kid.  She loves her family and has such a strong sense of loyalty and dedication.  Hope is bright with a really amazing memory.  She makes me happy every day.

We decided that the best thing for Hope would be to spend a couple half days in preschool a week.  (Notice, I didn't say the best thing for me, I wasn't ready to lose her during the day!)  She really craves time with other children.  The first day was just an hour while the parents had a meeting to attend.  When I picked her up, she said, "Mom, can you stay gone longer next time?"

Then, the next day she went to school, she walked right in without looking back or saying good bye.  I thought I might have a tear or two, but that wasn't until I picked her up.  I was just so excited to see her and hear about her day.

Love this kid!

Gage is such a fun little guy.  He loves to follow his sister around and try to do everything that Hope is doing.  He is such a smart and sweet little guy.  I can't believe that Gage will be in nursery soon.  In 3 weeks!  We have truly been blessed.  This was just before his 2nd bath of the day and 3rd time having his hair washed.  He has a new fascination with putting things in his hair.
